Our Plant In-Service is designed for plants with severe or recurring pest and disease infestations. While we can't guarantee recovery, we can treat and stay on top of any visible changes daily when the plant is kept in our nursery.
We have a dedicated section in our nursery for recovering plants that is separate from Our Collection and propagated gifts. Your plant can holiday here under supervision until fully recovered or until treatment is completed.
You can drop your plant to us or we can collect for an additional fee. Contact us to enquire or get a quote today.
We will undertake an initial assessment of your plant and then prepare your plant for treatment as required. This may include removing the top layer of soil or repotting entirely, washing the plant from top to bottom inspecting closely for any signs of pest or disease and removing pests or diseased leaves/stems.
Once the plant has settled, we will then treat as required and monitor. In most instances, a second or subsequent treatment is required so we will likely hold the plant for a period of two weeks to ensure all treatments are completed as directed and the plant ideally shows signs of new root or leaf growth.
We will give you an In-Service Advice (see example below) at the time of pick up so you can see what was identified, how we have cared and treated for your plant, and what you need to do to finish treatment or maintain your plant's health at home.
While you're thinking about it, don't forget to check out our Plant Care Guides.
We have summarised the care requirements of various species that we propagate to assist new plant owners to help their plants thrive.
